A market is a location and language pair. A tracked target adds a device, so one keyword can have separate desktop and mobile targets for each market. Google is the current search engine. Position tracking accepts every country and language listed below. The app suggests the languages commonly used in a selected country first, but More languages exposes the complete language list. Suggestions are a convenience, not a validation limit.

Location key syntax

Canonical location keys accept an optional @language qualifier:
The language code comes from the supported-language list below. An unqualified key uses the country’s default language. Supplying that same default explicitly resolves to the same canonical row, so ES and ES@es both normalize to ES. Pass a qualified location_key to create or update a keyword. The keyword resource returns location_key, language_code, and language_label so clients do not need to reconstruct the market from display text.

Supported countries

These countries can be used for position tracking. The default language is used when a location key has no @language qualifier.

Research capability

Rank checks and Research do not have the same availability boundary. Position tracking accepts every supported country-language pair above. Research metrics use DataForSEO Labs, whose catalog supports a smaller set of pairs and works at country scope. A city or region market is therefore translated to its country while retaining its language for Research. If Labs does not support that country-language pair, bisibility does not substitute another country’s data. The app keeps position tracking available and shows Research metrics as n/a. Keyword metrics come from the provider’s keyword_overview package. Capability is all-or-nothing for that request: an unsupported pair makes the entire metrics bundle unavailable, including volume, trend, CPC, competition, difficulty, and intent. The API reports unsupported_location instead of returning mixed or substituted metrics.
