A schedule defines when its member keywords receive rank checks. It creates planned runs that you can review in Runs before they start.

Create a schedule

Open Rank tracker, then Schedules, and select New schedule. Give the schedule a name, choose a cadence, and add the keywords that should belong to it. You can also set its start window, check depth, and provider policy. The schedule editor offers these recurring cadences: The start window can delay a scheduled start by a random number of minutes. Choose None to start exactly on time.

Time zone

A new schedule uses the project’s time zone unless you choose a specific IANA time zone for that schedule. The selected time zone is used to calculate the schedule’s timing. Monthly and custom cron schedules use it as their wall-clock anchor.

Default schedule

Exactly one schedule is the default for a project. Newly tracked keywords join that schedule automatically. Changing the default does not move the existing members of the previous default schedule; it stays enabled with its members. You cannot delete the default schedule. Choose another default first if you need to remove it.

Membership is exclusive

A keyword belongs to one schedule at a time. Adding a keyword to a schedule moves it from any other schedule. Removing a keyword from a schedule returns it to manual checking rather than adding it to another schedule automatically.

Pause, skip, and run now

Pause stops future runs for the schedule. Resuming starts the cadence from the current time and does not backfill missed occurrences. Use Skip once in Runs > Planned when you only want to cancel one future occurrence. It cancels that planned run and its queued targets without pausing the schedule. Use Run now in Runs > Planned to bring one planned or blocked run forward immediately. It starts the existing planned occurrence instead of creating a separate recurring schedule.
